The purpose of the Amelia Technology Committee is to enhance and extend the worship services of Amelia Christian Church. This committee recommends, installs, and operates the technology components needed for our church to operate most efficiently and effectively. It also promotes Amelia Christian Church through the ACC web site.
Committee members are responsible for:
- analyzing the needs of the church
- making recommendations to the Elder board for purchases or actions based on their analysis
- installing and maintaining AV, computer and networking equipment
- operating equipment during worship services to enhance the message
- maintaining a video library of sermons for those who may be unable to attend
- oversight of church web site
This committee works to ensure that our pastors have available technology for research and sermon development, that funds are managed in an effective way, printed materials are published with clarity and in a timely fashion, and that services conducted at Amelia Christian Church are enhanced by AV components to make the service most effective for everyone in the congregation. In addition, we strive to promote Amelia Christian Church through the oversight of an informative, welcoming, and current web presence.
