The Amelia Choir is of one body unified in spirit with a heart to glorify God and to humbly serve Him and the congregation through music, with a passion to lead others into God’s divine presence through thanksgiving, praise and worship.

“It came even to pass, as the trumpeters and singers were as one, to make one sound to be heard in praising and thanking the LORD; and when they lifted up their voice with the trumpets and cymbals and instruments of music, and praised the LORD, saying, For he is good; for his mercy endureth forever: that then the house was filled with a cloud, even the house of the LORD; So that the priests could not stand to minister by reason of the cloud: for the glory of the LORD had filled the house of God.”

Amelia Adult Choir Rehearsal

Wednesdays at 7:30pm in the Sanctuary

Music is one of the greatest gifts that God has given to us. Music is such a large part of our relationship with God, He wants us to worship Him with music. Worship music brings us into God’s presence like nothing else.

Psalms 149:1,3     Praise ye the Lord. Sing unto the Lord a new song, and his praise in the congregation of saints. Let them praise his name in the dance: let them sing praises unto him.

Hebrews 2:12     Saying, I will declare thy name unto my brethren, in the midst of the church will I sing praise unto thee.

Would you like to be a part of Amelia’s Adult Choir? We have weekly practices on Wednesday nights at 7:30pm in the sanctuary. We begin with prayer requests and a short devotion, followed by our time of rehearsal and preparation for upcoming worship services.  If you’ve wondered how to become a part, just show up!  Do you feel God calling you to lift your voice in praise and song?  Just say Y-E-S!
