The purpose of the College/Military Ministry Committee is to implement and maintain a program that provides nurturing, outreach, and witness for person’s of college and military enlistment age and their families.

The duties and responsibilities of the committee is to maintain a list of all the college and enlisted military from the church membership. This should include members, members’ children and/or grandchildren, and friends of members (if a member so requests). Compile care packages to be mailed or delivered each December and April to each person on the list. Recognize high school and college graduates on “Graduation Sunday” in May by presenting each graduate with a gift from the church. Maintain the “Campus Corner” bulletin board in the church with information pertaining to the identified people. Plan and implement additional ministry opportunities to further enhance the ministry’s effectiveness.
