There’s something for the whole family on Sunday mornings at Amelia. Serving the educational needs of a diverse congregation is a challenge that we seek to meet through a variety of classes. Each class is designed to provide age-appropriate, meaningful and challenging study, good fellowship, ministry opportunities and church involvement. Classes meet at 9:45am. Below is a list of our current Sunday morning small groups. Nursery is also offered during this time.
Children’s Sunday School
Children’s Sunday School is available from birth through fifth grade and is held in our Education Building. Kids will be in a class with others their age and a background checked and trained volunteer. Our available classes are preschool-kindergarten, 1st grade, 2nd grade, 3rd-5th grade, and our nursery is open. The Children’s School Sunday is using Grow Curriculum. For more information about Children’s Sunday School, contact Rebecca Stith or check out our Amelia Kids page!
Youth Sunday School
Our middle and high school students meet upstairs in our Education Building. All of our teachers are background checked and trained. The Youth Sunday School uses Grow Curriculum. For more information about Youth Sunday School, contact Rebecca Stith or check out our Amelia Youth page!
Adult Sunday School
There are currently four Adult Sunday School classes offered on Sunday mornings that meet in our Education Building. In each group, you will discover the teachings of scripture together and learn more about how to fully live out your faith. The Adult Sunday School classes are using curriculum from Union Gospel Press. For more information about Adult Sunday School, contact the church office and we’ll connect you with the leaders of those classes.
